PineConnector vs TradersPost vs Autoview (and SignalForge) in 2026

Short answer first: these four tools send your TradingView alerts to very different places. If you execute on MetaTrader 5 (forex, metals, indices, prop-firm accounts), only PineConnector and SignalForge apply. If you trade US stocks, options or futures through a US broker, TradersPost is the natural fit. If you trade crypto on exchanges, Autoview and TradersPost cover it. Budget then narrows the choice: SignalForge starts at $4.99/mo for one MT5 account, Autoview at $39.99/mo per live exchange, TradersPost at $41.65/mo billed yearly and PineConnector at $59/mo with hosted MT5 included.

Tool by tool: who each one is for

STRENGTHS AND LIMITS, INCLUDING OURS.

PineConnector: MT5 automation with hosting bundled

For: forex, index and prop-firm traders on MT5 who want the bridge and a managed terminal from one vendor.

  • Strengths: a long-established name in TradingView-to-MetaTrader automation. Every current plan includes Edge, its managed MT5, so you do not need a separate VPS. It scales from 1 to 5 connections, and beyond Pro at $35/mo per extra connection.
  • Limits: the entry price is $59/mo (launch price, moving to $69), steep if you only run one or two accounts. Edge hosts MT5 and the PineConnector EA with fixed settings; it does not host MT4 or arbitrary third-party EAs. Hosting is in New York, with London “coming soon”.
  • Trial: the official pricing page we checked on 26 September said there was no trial. On 4 October its site announced a Core 7-day trial at US$7 from 5 October 2026, then $59/mo unless cancelled.

TradersPost: US brokers across asset classes

For: traders automating TradingView strategies on US stocks, options, futures and crypto.

  • Strengths: 17 connections, including Tradovate, TradeStation, Interactive Brokers, tastytrade, NinjaTrader, Robinhood, Webull and five crypto exchanges, plus its own paper broker. It executes through broker APIs, so nothing runs on your computer.
  • Limits: no MetaTrader 4 or 5; forex appears as “coming soon”. Plans are gated by live accounts and asset classes: Starter $41.65/mo (1 live account, 1 asset class), Basic $84.15, Pro $169.15, Premium $254.15, all billed yearly. Monthly billing costs more (its page says yearly saves 15%).
  • Trial: a free plan for 7 days with manual submission on live accounts and automated submission on paper.

Autoview: crypto first, now also in the cloud

For: crypto traders on exchanges, plus some brokers through their APIs (OANDA, Capital.com, Tradovate, TradeStation, Alpaca).

  • Status: Autoview became known as a Chrome extension, and you will find claims online that it shut down. On 4 October 2026 its site was active and offered three modes: the browser extension (Chrome has to stay open for orders to go through), a 24/7 cloud service and AI agents limited to Kraken and Crypto.com. The site answers the shutdown rumour itself.
  • Strengths: simple pricing of $39.99/mo per live exchange ($399.99/yr), free on every testnet, demo and sandbox, and no subscription for live trading on Crypto.com. More than 20 venues.
  • Limits: no MetaTrader integration listed. Cost grows linearly with each exchange ($79.98/mo for two). Extension mode depends on your browser staying open. We found no trial or refund terms on its pricing page beyond “free to start” without a card.

SignalForge: MT5 only, priced per account

For: forex, metals, index and prop-firm traders who execute on MetaTrader 5 and want a low entry cost.

  • Strengths: Starter $4.99/mo (1 MT5 account); Trader $14.99/mo (3 accounts, Prop Firm Shield, news and trend filters, Telegram). 14-day trial without a card. Reads JSON, key=value and PineConnector-style alert messages. Median of about 0.5 s from webhook to confirmed order (measured 19 to 23 September 2026). SFCloud hosted MT5 from $9.99/mo with the bridge, in the UK and France, ready about 30 minutes after checkout, and it runs your own .ex5/.set files (up to 10 MB). Support in English and Spanish from the founder.
  • Limits: MT5 only: no MT4, no cTrader, no US stock or options brokers and no direct crypto exchanges (only the crypto CFDs your MT5 broker lists). SFCloud does not support MQL5 Market EAs and does not compile .mq5. Pro and Elite have no trial. A small team, not a large company.

FAQ

MT5, AUTOVIEW’S STATUS, TRIALS, MT4, TRADINGVIEW PLAN, COMBINING TOOLS.

Which of these tools supports MetaTrader 5?

PineConnector and SignalForge. Both run an EA inside an MT5 terminal. TradersPost lists no MetaTrader connection (forex shows as “coming soon”) and Autoview lists no MetaTrader integration; both route orders to brokers and exchanges through their APIs.

Is Autoview still working, or did it shut down?

It is active. On 4 October 2026 autoview.com sold three ways to run it: the Chrome browser extension, a 24/7 cloud service and AI agents (Kraken and Crypto.com only), at $39.99/mo per live exchange. Its own site addresses the shutdown rumour directly.

Which one has a free trial?

SignalForge: 14 days without a card on Starter, Trader and the SFCloud bundles. TradersPost: a free plan for 7 days with manual orders on live accounts and automation on paper. Autoview: free to start, demos and testnets free, Crypto.com live free. PineConnector: a Core 7-day trial at US$7 announced from 5 October 2026, then $59/mo unless cancelled.

Can I use MetaTrader 4 with any of them?

PineConnector describes MT4 as a legacy path with support limits, and its hosted Edge does not run MT4. SignalForge is MT5-only. TradersPost and Autoview do not connect to MetaTrader at all.

Do I need a paid TradingView plan?

For webhook alerts, yes: TradingView webhooks require a paid plan (Essential or higher). That cost sits on top of whichever tool you pick, and TradingView itself takes a few seconds to send each webhook.

Can I use two of these together?

Yes, as long as they never manage the same account. A common split is TradersPost or Autoview for a US stock or crypto account and an MT5 bridge such as SignalForge for forex or prop-firm accounts.
