TradersPost vs SignalForge: different planets.
Short honest answer first: these two tools barely compete. TradersPost automates TradingView strategies on US brokers — stocks, options, futures and crypto. It does not support MetaTrader 5. SignalForge does exactly one thing: TradingView → MT5, for forex and prop-firm traders, from $4.99/mo. If you found this page searching for a “TradersPost alternative” because you trade MT5, the comparison below tells you in two minutes which side of the fence you are on.

Where each one wins
Pick TradersPost if…
- You trade US stocks, options or futures through a US broker — that is its home turf and SignalForge simply does not do it.
- You want one dashboard for multiple US broker accounts across asset classes.
Pick SignalForge if…
- You execute on MetaTrader 5 — TradersPost cannot connect to MT5 at all.
- You trade forex/metals or run prop-firm accounts (FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers): Prop Firm Shield enforces drawdown rules automatically.
- Your budget says $4.99, not $41.65+.
- You want support answered by a human who built the product.
The decision in one question
Where does your money live? If it sits at a US brokerage in stocks and options, stop reading and use TradersPost — SignalForge is not for you. If it sits in an MT5 account (your own broker or a prop firm), TradersPost was never an option: MT5 is not in its broker list, and no plan tier changes that. The real comparison for you is between MT5 bridges — that is our three-bridge test (PineConnector $39, TradingConnector $14.99, SignalForge $4.99).
About those reviews
TradersPost is a serious content operation (over a thousand pages) with real users, but its public Trustpilot sits at 2.9★ across 56 reviews, with support responsiveness as the recurring theme. We are smaller and newer — our profile is public here — but every support email is answered by the founder. At $4.99/mo you get a human; that is a deliberate trade we make against scale.
MT5 trader landing here from a TradersPost search? Your alerts almost certainly work as-is: SignalForge parses JSON, key=value and PineConnector-style alert messages (test yours in the free webhook tester). Setup is four steps, about 10 minutes, and the trial is 14 days with no card.
FAQ
Does TradersPost work with MetaTrader 5?
No. TradersPost connects TradingView to US brokers for stocks, options, futures and crypto. It does not list MT5 or MT4 among its connections. For MT5 execution you need an MT5-native bridge like SignalForge.
Is SignalForge a full TradersPost replacement?
Only if your execution happens on MT5. SignalForge does not connect to US stock/options brokers — different product for a different market.
Why is the price gap so large ($4.99 vs $41.65+)?
Different scope. TradersPost maintains integrations with many US brokers across four asset classes; SignalForge maintains one deep pipeline (TradingView → MT5) and prices for retail and prop-firm forex traders.
Can I run both?
Yes, and some traders do: TradersPost for a US equities account, SignalForge for the MT5/prop-firm side. They never touch the same account.
