How your broker login is handled.
To keep your terminal signed in on its own, MT5 needs your broker login. Here is exactly where it goes.
- You enter your MT5 login, server and password in the dashboard, over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- The password is written only to your own terminal's configuration, so MT5 can sign in again after a restart. It is never stored in our database.
- Each terminal runs in its own isolated container and is reached over TLS.
Not a VPS. On purpose.
