You rent it from inside MetaTrader: pick the server closest to your broker and migrate. Migration copies the EAs running on your charts, their settings, your WebRequest allow-list and your signal subscriptions to a virtual terminal that runs 24/7. There is no desktop to log into: you change things in the MT5 on your own computer and synchronise again. $15 for one month, $13/mo for three, $10.83/mo for six and $10/mo for twelve, with a 24-hour free trial (mql5.com/en/vps, checked 2026-09-23). DLLs are not allowed on the virtual terminal; WebRequest is, if you enable it and list the URLs before migrating.
SFCloud — a full MT5 you open in the browser
SFCloud is a managed MetaTrader 5 in the cloud: we run the machine, MT5 comes pre-installed with the SignalForge EA, and you open the real terminal from any browser, phone included, with no PC needed at any point. THE OTHER SIDE
Where SFCloud wins.
No PC at any point. The MQL5 VPS mirrors a terminal that lives on your computer: you need a local MT5 to set things up, migrate and re-sync every change. SFCloud is set up from any browser, even from a phone or a Mac with no MetaTrader installed.
You see the real terminal. SFCloud opens the full MT5 in a browser tab: charts, positions, journal. The MQL5 virtual terminal has no desktop to open.
TradingView is built in. A VPS keeps MT5 alive but does not receive TradingView alerts; SFCloud comes with the SignalForge bridge already wired to your terminal.
Month-to-month price. $9.99/mo buys the bridge and a hosted terminal, against $15 for a single month of MQL5 hosting without a bridge. The MQL5 VPS only gets to $10/mo if you prepay a full year.
The honest limits: SFCloud is MetaTrader 5 only, runs in our EU and US data centres rather than MetaQuotes' broker-side network, and is built for TradingView-to-MT5 automation with our EA.
