Axi login: where to find your MT5 server
We could not verify an official Axi page listing MT5 server names (checked 4 October 2026), so we publish none: yours is the one Axi assigned to your account. To find it:
- Axi Client Portal: press the "Trade" button of your MT5 account and a window opens with the server name and the login. Axi's official help explains it: Overview of Axi Client Portal (checked 4 October 2026).
- The welcome email of your MT5 account, with the login and the server.
- In MT5: File, Open an Account, type "Axi" and pick the server that matches your Client Portal.
If the Axi login fails with "Invalid account", check the server first: with the wrong server, a correct login and password will not connect.
Does SignalForge work with Axi?
Yes, on MT5 (MT4 is not supported). Your alert fires on TradingView, the webhook reaches SignalForge and the SignalForge EA opens the order inside your own Axi MT5 terminal. Median time from webhook to confirmed order was about 0.5 s in our measurements of 19-23 September 2026. No API keys and no change of broker.
What you need before starting
- An Axi MT5 account: login, password and server (see the server section above)
- A TradingView plan with webhook alerts (paid plan)
- A SignalForge account: 14-day free trial, no card. After the trial, Starter is $4.99/mo for 1 account and Trader $14.99/mo for 3 accounts
Step-by-step setup
- Create your SignalForge account and copy your webhook URL from the dashboard.
- Log in to Axi from MT5 (File, Login to Trade Account) with the login, password and server from your Axi Client Portal or welcome email.
- Register the same login and server in SignalForge, written exactly as MT5 shows it, spaces and numbers included.
- Install the SignalForge EA, drag it onto any chart and switch Algo Trading on.
- Create the TradingView alert with your webhook URL and a JSON message like this one, using the symbol name from your Market Watch:
{
"action": "buy",
"symbol": "EURUSD",
"lot": 0.01
}
- Fire a test alert on a demo account and confirm the order appears in MT5 before you go live.
Symbol names on Axi
Copy symbols exactly as your Market Watch shows them (Ctrl+M; right-click and Show All if one is missing). Forex and gold usually match TradingView (EURUSD, XAUUSD), but suffixes depend on the account type and index names vary the most between brokers. Check your own list instead of copying a name from another account.
Common errors with Axi (and how to fix them)
These are generic MT5 problems that also apply to Axi accounts; each one links to the full fix.
- Symbol not found or wrong instrument. Axi may name a symbol differently from TradingView (a suffix such as
.a,.proorm, or another index name). The SignalForge EA resolves common suffixes by itself (.a .b .i .pro .raw .std .stp m pro #and partial matches) and mapsGOLDtoXAUUSDandSILVERtoXAGUSD. If your broker calls goldGOLDwhile the alert sendsXAUUSD, ask our support for a per-account alias. Checklist: wrong symbol, lot size or account in MT5. - Same lot, different exposure on gold and indices. Contract sizes for
XAUUSDand index CFDs differ between brokers and account types, so 1.00 lot is not the same risk everywhere. Check the contract size in Market Watch (right-click the symbol, Specification) before going live. In fixed-lot mode the EA ignores thelotsent in the alert. - The alert fired but no trade opened. Usually Algo Trading is off, the EA is not attached to a chart, or the login and server registered in SignalForge do not match the terminal. Step by step: TradingView webhook not executing in MT5.
- "No connection" or "Invalid account" in MT5. The login is going to the wrong server, or the demo account has expired. Log in again with the exact server from your Axi Client Portal or welcome email; an expired demo needs a new demo account. What happens to alerts while MT5 is offline: MT5 restart: open trades and alerts.
- Error 4756 in the Journal. The trade request could not be sent: invalid stops, a volume outside the symbol limits or not enough margin. Diagnosis: MT5 error 4756.
FAQ
- Which server do I use to connect MetaTrader 5 to Axi? The one shown by the "Trade" button of your account in the Axi Client Portal, or the one in your welcome email. We publish no Axi server names because we could not verify them in an official source (4 October 2026).
- I opened my Axi account years ago as AxiTrader, does it still work? Yes: SignalForge connects to your MT5 account, not to the brand. Use the exact login and server your terminal shows.
- Does it work on an Axi demo account? Yes. Demo and live use the same setup: register the demo login and the demo server exactly as MT5 shows them.
- Do I need a VPS? No. The EA runs in your own MT5 terminal, so the computer must stay on while you trade. If you prefer not to leave it on, SFCloud runs it for you in a hosted MT5 (UK and France): $9.99/mo with the Starter bridge (Starter + SFCloud). Standalone SFCloud ($6.99/mo) is an always-on MT5 in the cloud for manual trading; it does not include the bridge, so it does not execute TradingView alerts. SFCloud does not run MQL5 Market EAs.
- Does it work with MT4? No. SignalForge supports MT5 only.
- How much does it cost? Starter $4.99/mo (1 account) and Trader $14.99/mo (3 accounts, Prop Firm Shield and filters). Both start with a 14-day free trial without a card.
