What each product actually is
The names collide; the products do not. Signal Forge is the name LuxAlgo uses for its indicator library on TradingView. SignalForge AI is a different product from a different company: a bridge that takes your TradingView alerts and executes them as orders on MetaTrader 5. This page exists to clear up that confusion with facts, not to rank one above the other.

What is each one for?
LuxAlgo Signal Forge helps you analyse and trade inside TradingView: it paints signals, offers chart analysis tools and can send alerts when its conditions trigger. On its own, it does not place orders on MT5 or with any broker.
SignalForge AI does not generate signals at all. Its job is execution: it receives the webhook of a TradingView alert and turns it into an order on your connected MT5 account, with configurable lot sizing, stops, trailing and other account protections. Whatever indicator or script produced the alert, the bridge executes it.
Can you use them together?
Yes, and it is actually the natural combination. The indicator generates the signal on the chart and fires a TradingView alert; SignalForge receives that alert through the webhook and executes it on MT5. Each product does the part it is best at: analysis in TradingView, execution in MetaTrader.
Before going live, validate the whole chain on a demo account: confirm the alert fires, the webhook is delivered, the order reaches MT5 with the expected symbol, volume and stops, and that close commands work too. TradingView requires a paid plan for webhook alerts, and no tool removes trading risk.
Which one should you choose?
- You only want signals and visuals while trading inside TradingView: LuxAlgo Signal Forge covers that on its own.
- You already have a signal source (any indicator, including Signal Forge) and want the orders executed on MT5 automatically: that is exactly what SignalForge AI does.
- You want the complete workflow: use both together and verify each layer separately on demo before trading live.
- You are preparing a prop-firm account: check your firm's rules first, then test the setup on demo. See our bridge for prop firms.
Frequently asked questions
Is LuxAlgo's Signal Forge the same product as SignalForge AI?
No. Signal Forge is LuxAlgo's indicator library for TradingView. SignalForge AI is an independent order-execution bridge for MT5, built by a different company. The similar names cause confusion, but there is no relationship between the two companies.
Can LuxAlgo Signal Forge trade on MT5?
Not by itself: it is a TradingView indicator. It can fire TradingView alerts, and those alerts can be executed on MT5 through a bridge such as SignalForge AI.
Does SignalForge AI generate trading signals?
No. SignalForge AI executes the alerts you configure. You keep full control of the strategy, the indicator and the alert conditions.
Do I need both products to automate my trading?
You need two things: a signal source (which can be LuxAlgo Signal Forge or any other indicator or script) and an execution path to MT5 (SignalForge AI). You only need both if you want that specific combination.
Is this suitable for prop-firm accounts?
SignalForge AI is used by prop-firm traders, but every firm has its own rules. Review them, test the complete workflow on demo, and remember that no execution tool guarantees profitability or compliance by itself.
